Our Story

Three sisters

Once upon a time, our mother used to sew.

In one corner of our home there were fabrics, threads, buttons and scissors. We three sisters grew up among those fabrics. Back then we had no idea it would stay a part of our lives.

Years passed.

Life took us down different paths. One of us became a professor of medicine, one a dentist, one a financial adviser. Our professions differed, but we had one thing in common: busy days, responsibility, and a life moving fast.

At some point each of us rediscovered how much it matters to make something, to bring something into being with our own hands, in the middle of all that rushing.

And we returned to the world we had known since childhood.

We sat down at the sewing machine.

To this day we still sew beside our mother. We ask what she thinks while we work on a new design, and lean on her experience whenever a detail leaves us undecided. Sometimes she shows us a stitching technique; sometimes years of practice give us a different way of seeing.

We keep learning, and she keeps showing the way.

That is how Three Sisters was born.

Bags to travel with, accessories that make daily life easier, make-up cases, clutches, beach bags, laptop and tablet sleeves, small purses…

But we are not really making products.

We are sharing the joy of work, of family ties, of sisterhood, and of making something.

Wherever in the world we go today, whatever the reason for the trip, our eyes are always on new fabrics, unfamiliar textures and unusual trimmings. A fabric shop, a small haberdashery or a local craft store is always a stop worth making.

Because every journey brings new ideas.

We keep learning, researching and experimenting, so we can design pieces that are more useful, more durable, more beautiful and more of a pleasure to carry.

We combine our mother's years of experience with our own lives and with the inspiration we gather from different corners of the world.

Every piece carries a trace of our family's story, and every stitch the respect we hold for the work.

Three Sisters is the story of three sisters who grew up on what a mother taught them, and who keep making things together.
